Awwwwwwww its not that bad. I figure we can still win the tourney if we play sensibly.
I would play this team
Salman Butt Mohammad Hafiz Umar Akmal Misbah-ul-Haq Shahid Afridi Abdul Razzaq Kamran Akmal Mohammad Aamir Umar Gul Mohammad Asif Saeem Ajmal
Yasir Arafat
This team may not look impressive but it really is capable of winning. I just hope we can at least survive the group stages Oh and i would take out Khalid Latif from the 15 man squad and replace him with Shahzaib Hassan. |
Your openers, Butt and Hafeez, have great talent, and they've shown us that, but they are very hit and miss. Umar Akmal is a douche. He has such great talent for a young player, but he's just such a douchebag. Misbah Ul-Haq. Well, he is a curious case this guy, always finding new ways to get himself out, but once again, he has great talent. Your all rounders, Afridi and Razzaq, both attacking batsman, both attacking bowlers, both great players, it's a shame Afridi is up himself, I don't have much against Razzaq though. Kamran Akmal the keeper, good batsman, pretty good player, had a rough run in Australia, but finished off the tour with 64 in the T20, unfortunately he has attitiude problems. Your bowlers, Aamir, great young talent and he's only gonna improve, Gul, the best international T20 bowler in the world, Asif, well we know how good he is, and your spinner Ajmal, came into the team later then usual (age wise), but he showed us what he is capable of during the Aussie tour.
So in conclusion, Pakistan is definately capable of winning this thing, but they're consistancy is atrocious. |

| See, I dont get why you called Umar Akmal a douche. He is a great player and will only get better. He is like the main batsman this time we go to the West Indies The only negative is that Umar is abit over aggressive. He sometimes gives away his wicket cheaply and if thats why you called him a douche, then its ok
Misbah, i just dont like. Unfortunately though, theres not too many replacements. He's a good player, just in bad form for like 2 years which is why i think he's now useless. I agree with your opinions regarding the rest of the players |

| Hes a douche because he said he wouldn't play if his brother was dropped. Therefore Umar Akmal = Douche |

| Yeah, but I'd rather see Amit Mishra or Pragyan Ojha as the spinner, and Robin Uthappa in the squad to. |

| I'd say Smith will play more than Hauritz, I've decided recently that Hauritz is a dud and Smith shalt be knighted. Ok slight over reaction but yeah, looks like a decent squad And why is there so many Vics in the Women squad? ____________________ 1961 - 1971 - 1976 - 1978 - 1983 - 1986 - 1988 - 1989 - 1991 - 2008

| Sehwag is out of the tournament with an injury. A big blow to India, that. On the basis of his form in the IPL, Murali Vijay has been picked as a replacement. Will Murali Vijay get a place in the line up ? Can he perform well ? Will India miss Sehwag's presence. All we can do is wait and see... |

And, wanting to kick the selectors. Really harsh on him. He would have been a great asset to the Indian team, had he been playing. With Srikkanth as the chief selector, this (Murali Vijay being picked ahead of Robin Uthappa) must have something to do something with the regional representation policy, which has secretly plagued Indian cricket for the past 10 -15 years. |
